Job Description: Senior Accounts Executive

About the Role
As a Senior Accounts Executive, you will play a key role in managing the organization's financial operations, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting accurate financial reporting. The role requires expertise in accounting processes, taxation, reconciliations, MIS reporting, vendor management, and audit coordination to maintain financial integrity and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Operations & Accounting
- Manage end-to-end accounting activities, including sales, purchases, journal entries, and ledger maintenance.
- Ensure timely processing of accounts payable and receivable.
- Monitor daily cash flow and perform bank reconciliations.
- Review and verify accounting entries before finalization.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
2. Financial Reporting & MIS
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Generate MIS reports and provide financial insights to management.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and coordinate with internal teams for collections.
3. Statutory Compliance
- Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, Income Tax, E-way Bills, and other statutory compliances.
- Keep up to date with changes in tax laws and accounting regulations.
- Coordinate with CA, auditors, and government authorities for statutory matters.
- Ensure complete compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
4. Billing & Vendor Management
- Review customer invoices, purchase invoices, and payment schedules.
- Manage vendor payments and maintain healthy vendor relationships.
- Resolve invoice discrepancies and payment-related issues.
- Monitor customer outstanding balances and coordinate follow-ups.
5. Audit & Documentation
- Prepare schedules and documentation for internal and statutory audits.
- Ensure proper maintenance of financial records and supporting documents.
- Implement and improve accounting processes and internal controls.
6. Team Support & Process Improvement
- Guide and support junior accounts executives.
- Review accounting work completed by junior team members.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting efficiency and automation.
- Coordinate with procurement, operations, HR, and sales teams for smooth financial processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Finance, or Accounting. M.Com or CA Inter preferred.
- 4–7 years of experience in accounting and finance.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, E-way Bills, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in Tally Prime, Busy, or ERP software, along with Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, MIS).
- Experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, and audit coordination.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
