Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced AWS Cloud Support Engineer responsible for managing, monitoring, securing, and optimizing AWS cloud infrastructure. The candidate should possess strong expertise in AWS services, cost optimization, security management, automation, and operational support to ensure high availability, performance, and compliance of cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and support AWS cloud infrastructure including EC2, RDS, EKS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Guard Duty, and Inspector.
• Troubleshoot AWS infrastructure, application, and networking issues.
• Deploy, manage, and optimize EC2 instances.
• Configure Auto Scaling Groups and Load Balancers.
• Manage Amazon RDS instances including backup, restore, monitoring, and performance optimization.
• Administration of IAM users, roles, groups, and policies.
• Manage access controls following the principle of least privilege.
• Monitor security findings through AWS Guard Duty and Amazon Inspector.
• Ensure MFA enforcement, access key rotation, and account security best practices.
• Perform proactive health monitoring and incident response & generate operational and security reports for management.
• Monitor AWS utilization and cloud expenditure & Prepare Monthly AWS Billing & Cost Optimization Reports.
• Track budget utilization and provide recommendations to stakeholders.
• Create and manage AWS Accounts. (Organisation account, child account & Dedicated accounts.)
• Maintain account inventory and resource documentation.
• Design and manage AWS VPCs, Subnets, Route Tables, Security Groups, etc.
• Implement secure connectivity between AWS environments and on-premises infrastructure.
• Automate EC2 start/stop scheduling to optimize cloud costs.
• Prepare monthly operational, security, and billing reports.
• Support audit and compliance activities.
• S3 Creation, access rights and configuration.
• Knowledge of AWS Market place Services & Subscriptions.
Required Skills
• AWS EC2, RDS, EKS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, S3, CloudTrail, Guard Duty, Inspector
• Cost Explorer & Billing, AWS Systems Manager (SSM), etc.
Experience
• 5+ Years in IT Infrastructure / Cloud Operations
• 4+ Years of Hands-on Experience in AWS Cloud Administration and Support.
• AWS Cloud Practitioner & AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate.
