Control Management
Control Management maintains a strong and consistent control environment across the firm. With Control Managers appointed for each Line of Business, Function and Region, there is a comprehensive coverage and joint accountability model with the business executive that promotes early operational risk identification and assessment, effective design and evaluation of controls and sustainable solutions to mitigate operational risk.
Controls Room
The Controls Room Team within Control Management works collaboratively with other control disciplines and oversees existing control functions as well as the development of new control functions and protocols. The team's objective is to empower the three lines of defense with risk-based information to manage their control environment. We achieve this by collecting, analyzing and monitoring firmwide risk-based intelligence into all lines of business and corporate functions.
The Controls Room gathers information from key business and technology partners in order to:

Provide views into risk and issues.

The Analytics team is an integral part of the Controls Management group and is dedicated to provide data insights and strong analytical solutions of Operational Risk data to the Control Management organization. Our mission is to furnish insightful management information that empowers informed decision-making, strengthens control oversight, and enhances operational efficiency.
Job Summary

Drive analytics initiatives end-to-end by framing the business problem, forming testable hypotheses, defining success criteria and KPIs, and establishing measurement and ongoing monitoring plans.

Develop and productionize advanced analytics solutions (e.g., forecasting, prediction, segmentation, anomaly detection, optimization) with strong validation, documented assumptions, and reproducible results.

Translate insights into business outcomes by communicating findings in plain language, quantifying impact, recommending actions, and supporting execution through implementation.

Ensure data readiness for each use case by identifying required sources, partnering with data owners and stakeholders, improving data quality (completeness, accuracy, timeliness), and maintaining clear lineage and traceability.

Design and integrate analytics tooling and pipelines to retrieve and transform data, validate inputs/outputs, automate quality checks, and enable scalable operational decisioning.

Apply LLMs to improve performance by shaping behavior and reasoning, and by evaluating outputs using defined rubrics, test suites, and measurable quality metrics.

Create reusable analytics assets (templates, feature stores/sets, evaluation frameworks, pipelines, and playbooks) to accelerate delivery and improve consistency across use cases.

Produce clear, audience-appropriate documentation covering solution design, assumptions, data definitions, and runbooks for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Embed governance and controls by building audit-friendly artifacts, enforcing traceability, and implementing appropriate safeguards throughout analytics workflows.
Continuously evolve methods and standards by staying current on emerging tools and techniques and strengthening experimentation, validation, and evaluation practices in line with industry best practices.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Bachelor's/Master's in CS (or related) with 10+ years of relevant experience

Proven production experience delivering business-critical analytical solutions with measurable impact

Strong Python (and/or SQL); strong statistical knowledge, experimental design, and evaluation/validation rigor

Hands-on LLM assistants, API integration.

Cloud + platform delivery: AWS/Azure/GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, performance tuning, monitoring/runbooks

Strong independent problem-solving within scope; effective cross-functional collaborator

Clear communicator to technical and non-technical stakeholders
