Plan and lead programmatic media buying activities to secure, optimize, and govern high-quality inventory across DSP platforms. Own supply strategy, deal execution, and supply-side issue resolution to ensure delivery quality, brand safety, and performance outcomes are achieved consistently.

Summary
As a Media Buying Lead, you will own the programmatic supply strategy, managing PMP, PG, and curated deals to ensure high-quality, brand-safe inventory delivery. Your role involves resolving complex supply-side delivery issues, optimizing deal performance, and guiding Media Buying Managers on execution quality and optimization best practices.
You will act as the supply-side authority, balancing performance goals with quality, governance, and brand safety requirements across all programmatic executions.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Expected to be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in programmatic buying, deal mechanics, and supply-side dynamics.
- Own programmatic supply strategy including PMP, PG, and curated deal setup, optimization, and governance.
- Secure high-quality inventory aligned to brand safety, quality, and performance requirements.
- Resolve supply-side delivery issues including under-delivery, inventory fragmentation, and bid loss.
- Partner with Media Buying Managers to guide execution quality, optimization strategies, and issue resolution.
- Monitor supply health, deal performance, and quality metrics across platforms.
- Align with Media COE Lead on buying governance, quality standards, and escalation management.
- Work closely with Ad Ops Centre Lead on trafficking, deal implementation, and delivery troubleshooting.
- Document best practices, deal frameworks, and quality standards for consistent execution.
- Continuously improve supply efficiency, quality, and performance outcomes.
Professional & Technical Skills
- Deep expertise in programmatic buying platforms and deal mechanics (DV360, curated marketplaces).
- Strong understanding of supply-side dynamics, SSP behavior, and auction mechanics.
- Proven leadership and mentorship experience across trading and buying teams.
- Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve complex delivery issues.
- Ability to balance performance optimization with quality, governance, and brand safety requirements.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to operate in complex, high-volume trading environments.

- This role has direct accountability for inventory quality, supply efficiency, and delivery stability.
- The role is critical to maintaining brand safety, performance, and buying governance.
- Advanced programmatic and supply-chain certifications are strongly recommended.
- The role operates in close alignment with COE leadership, Ad Ops, and buying teams.
