About the Role
The candidate will be responsible for making outbound calls to prospective students and clients, understanding their requirements, explaining suitable study and visa opportunities, generating interest and converting enquiries into counselling appointments.
We are looking for someone with good knowledge of Study Visa, Tourist Visa and Overseas Education, excellent communication skills and strong convincing abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to prospective students and visa enquiries
- Understand the student's academic profile, requirements, career plans and budget
- Explain suitable Study Visa, Tourist Visa and Overseas Education opportunities
- Generate interest and qualify potential leads
- Convince and motivate prospective students to take counselling
- Handle student and parent queries professionally
- Explain basic visa processes, eligibility and documentation requirements
- Follow up with interested students through calls and WhatsApp
- Maintain regular follow-ups with prospective clients
- Schedule counselling appointments for qualified leads
- Handle objections and provide suitable responses
- Convert enquiries into genuine counselling opportunities
- Maintain accurate calling records and lead status in CRM/Excel
- Coordinate with visa counsellors and the admissions team
- Achieve daily, weekly and monthly calling and conversion targets
- Maintain professional communication with students and parents
Visa & Study Abroad Knowledge
The candidate must have good knowledge of Study Visa, Tourist Visa and Overseas Education.
Good knowledge of major study-abroad destinations such as:
- Australia
- UK
- New Zealand
- Canada
- Europe
- USA
- Malta
- Mauritius
- Greece
will be preferred.
Knowledge of Australia GTE/GS, UK student visa requirements, visa documentation and general admission processes will be an added advantage.
Communication & Convincing Skills
The candidate must have excellent verbal communication, convincing and sales skills.
Fluency in the following languages is required:
The candidate should be confident while speaking with students and parents and should be able to explain study-abroad opportunities clearly and professionally.
Strong convincing, objection-handling, follow-up and lead-conversion skills are essential for this position.
Candidate Profile

- Good at convincing and influencing prospective students
- Excellent in communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in English, Hindi and Punjabi
- Good at understanding customer requirements
- Target-oriented and self-motivated
- Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls
- Good at follow-ups and lead conversion
- Able to handle objections professionally
- Disciplined and capable of working independently
- Comfortable communicating through WhatsApp and phone calls
- Familiar with basic computer applications, Excel and CRM
- Previous experience in Visa Consultancy, Study Abroad, Telecalling, Sales or Education Consultancy will be preferred
