About the Role
Job Description: We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer with 2–4 years of experience in a similar position to join our engineering team in Delhi. You will be responsible for testing and validating our payment platform across payin and payout flows, ensuring transaction accuracy, reliability, and security, while working closely with our backend developers and bank integration partners.
Job Responsibilities:
* Designing, writing, and maintaining test cases, test plans, and regression suites for payin and payout transaction flows
* Testing REST APIs using tools such as Postman, including request validation, response verification, and error handling
* Validating bank and payment switch integrations in UAT environments, including callback handling and transaction status reconciliation
* Executing negative and edge-case testing for scenarios such as duplicate transactions, timeouts, partial failures, and retries
* Verifying data integrity using SQL queries against PostgreSQL
* Building and maintaining automated test scripts for API and UI regression coverage
* Logging, tracking, and verifying defects through to closure using tools such as Jira
* Performing regression testing and release sign-off prior to production deployments
* Participating in agile development processes and contributing to continuous
Improvement of QA processes Required Skills:
* Min 2 years of work experience in a similar position, up to 4 years
* Strong understanding of testing fundamentals, including test case design, test planning, defect life cycle, and regression testing
* Hands-on experience with API testing using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools
* Proficiency in writing SQL queries for data validation and backend verification
* Working knowledge of test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or pytest
* Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as Jira, TestRail.
* Ability to read and interpret API documentation and integration specifications independently
* Prior experience in fintech, payments, or banking is a strong advantage
* Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter and awareness of security testing concepts is a plus
* Excellent attention to detail, with the discipline to document reproducible steps and verify outcomes precisely
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a methodical approach to isolating defects
* Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a proven track record of working effectively within a team environment
* Proficiency in English is required.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
