This Position reports to:
Sales Director – North & South India
Your role and responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales of B&R’s next generation technology, machine connectivity, automation & edge, high end motion system & technology software solutions in the southern region/market. The role demands a mix of sales acumen, technical understanding, and customer engagement.

This role is contributing to the Automation Division-B&R in Bangalore/ Chennai, India.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Meeting customers and partners regularly to generate enquiries and build a strong pipeline.
Analyzing customer requirements and market trends to create and present techno-commercial offers.
Leading negotiations and closing deals.
Coordinating with internal B&R teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Acting as a brand ambassador/OEM consultant to promote B&R’s future technologies.
Participating in exhibitions, seminars, and product demos.
Driving accurate forecasts using CRM tools to enable data-driven decision-making and business growth.
Building customer references to support after-sales engagement and drive further growth.
Qualifications for the role
5–10 years of sales experience in the automation industry (PLC, SCADA, Drives, Motion, Mechatronics)
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Mechatronics).
Preference for candidates with multinational company experience.
Hands-on application development experience.
Strong industrial sales and solution-selling capabilities.
Effective communication and negotiation skills.
High professionalism and integrity in customer interactions.
Fluency in English and Hindi, with knowledge of at least one regional language preferred.
