Full job description

Job Position : Web Developer

We are looking for a talented and motivated Web Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, along with practical knowledge of WordPress and React.js and a basic understanding of Next.js.

The candidate will be responsible for developing responsive, user-friendly, and high-quality websites and web applications while working closely with designers, backend developers, and other team members.

Key Responsibilities

Develop responsive and mobile-friendly websites using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
Convert Figma/UI/UX designs into clean, responsive, and pixel-perfect web pages.
Develop, customize, and maintain websites using WordPress.
Customize WordPress themes and plugins according to project requirements.
Build reusable and maintainable UI components using React.js.
Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs.
Understand and work with existing React projects.
Work with Next.js projects and understand its basic structure and concepts.
Ensure websites are responsive across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
Ensure cross-browser compatibility.
Optimize websites for performance, speed, and basic SEO.
Identify and fix UI, frontend, and browser-related issues.
Work closely with designers and backend developers to implement project requirements.
Write clean, reusable, and well-structured code.
Maintain and update existing websites and web applications.
Perform testing and debugging before deployment.
Follow coding standards and frontend development best practices.

Required Technical Skills

HTML5

Strong understanding of HTML5.
Knowledge of semantic HTML.
Understanding of website structure and forms.
Proper use of headings, links, images, lists, tables, and other HTML elements.
Basic understanding of SEO-friendly HTML.
Basic understanding of web accessibility.

CSS3

Strong understanding of CSS.
Knowledge of:
Flexbox
CSS Grid
Media Queries
Responsive Design
Positioning
Transitions
Animations
Pseudo-classes and pseudo-elements
Ability to create responsive layouts from Figma designs.
Understanding of CSS specificity and inheritance.
Knowledge of Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS is an added advantage.

JavaScript

Good understanding of JavaScript fundamentals.
Variables, data types, functions, loops, and conditions.
Arrays and objects.
DOM manipulation.
Event handling.
ES6+ concepts.
Arrow functions.
Destructuring.
Spread/rest operators.
Array methods such as map, filter, reduce, and forEach.
Promises and asynchronous JavaScript.
Basic knowledge of async/await.
JSON and REST API integration.
Basic debugging using browser developer tools.

WordPress

Good knowledge of WordPress.
Understanding of WordPress themes and plugins.
Ability to customize WordPress themes.
Basic knowledge of WordPress template files.
Experience working with WordPress page builders is an advantage.
Ability to create and maintain responsive WordPress websites.
Basic knowledge of WordPress website optimization.
Ability to troubleshoot common WordPress issues.

React.js

Good understanding of React fundamentals.
Knowledge of functional components.
Understanding of:

Hooks
useState
useEffect
Event handling
Conditional rendering
Lists and keys
Ability to create reusable React components.
Basic API integration.
Understanding of component-based development.
Basic knowledge of state management.

Next.js – Basic Knowledge
