Your work profile:

Experienced Test Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable automated testing solutions for our WPF based desktop client.
This role requires strong automation engineering skills, including scripting, framework design, and debugging, with the ability to quickly adapt to and leverage Test Complete.
While strong automation engineering fundamentals and scripting capabilities are required, experience with Test Complete and JavaScript are highly desirable.
Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts
Build scalable, maintainable automation tests for WPF application
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
Analyze test failures and determine root cause (test vs. product issues)
Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to improve test coverage
Identify opportunities to improve automation strategy and efficiency

Key skills required:

5+ years of experience in software testing with strong focus on automation
Strong programming/scripting experience (e.g., JavaScript, Python, C#, or similar)
Proven experience designing and implementing automation frameworks
Hands-on experience with automated testing tools (Test Complete, Selenium, Cypress, etc.)
Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
Experience with version control systems (Git)
Experience with Test Complete
Experience with desktop application automation
Experience with keyword-driven and data-driven testing approaches
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices
Automation framework design
Code quality and maintainability
Test design (functional, regression, edge cases)
Root cause analysis and debugging
CI/CD integration
Collaboration and communication
Experience with monitoring/APM tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk, Grafana, etc.
Good understanding of Web/API Performance Testing (REST/SOAP)
Knowledge of SQL, Linux, and log analysis
Experience working in Agile/DevOps environments

Qualifications:

The candidate should have an educational background of BE / BTech
