Fitness Trainer / Personal Trainer Company: Total Fitness Location: Lokhra, Guwahati, Assam Job Type: Full-time Experience: 4-5 years preferred About Total Fitness Total Fitness is a growing fitness centre in Lokhra, Guwahati, focused on helping members achieve measurable results through structured training, weight-loss programmes, strength training and personalised fitness guidance. We are looking for a motivated, professional and result-oriented Fitness Trainer / Personal Trainer who can take ownership of member training and help us build a strong fitness community. Key Responsibilities - Conduct fitness assessments and understand members' fitness goals. - Design and deliver personalised workout programmes. - Train members in strength training, weight loss, muscle building and general fitness. - Correct exercise technique and ensure proper form and safety. - Monitor members' progress and regularly update training plans. - Conduct personal training (PT) sessions and small-group training. - Assist members with basic nutrition and lifestyle guidance within the scope of a fitness trainer. - Motivate members and improve member retention through professional coaching. - Support the gym's weight-loss and transformation programmes. - Maintain professional standards on the gym floor and ensure equipment is used safely. - Help onboard new members and explain suitable training programmes. - Promote PT and specialised training programmes when appropriate. - Maintain a positive, disciplined and professional training environment. Candidate Requirements - 4-5 years of experience as a gym trainer, fitness trainer or personal trainer preferred. - Relevant fitness certification is preferred (ACE, ACSM, NSCA, ISSA, K11, Gold's Gym certification or equivalent). - Strong knowledge of strength training, weight loss and exercise programming. - Good communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work with beginners as well as experienced gym members. - Professional appearance, punctuality and positive attitude. - Passion for fitness and helping clients achieve measurable results. - Ability to work during morning and evening peak hours.
