Who you will work with
BCN Private Equity Group CoE at Bain & Company provides specialized support to global teams across the private equity value chain, enabling clients to make key investment decisions. Our expertise lies in addressing critical diligence questions through a range of products such as survey analytics, digital diagnostic, workforce analytics and disruption assessment. Our teams work in a fast-paced environment delivering consistent and impactful results at scale. In the last decade, we have witnessed an exponential growth, reaching >250 members today from ~10 members in 2013. We operate from 3 locations – 2 in India and 1 in Poland, and operate across all 3 regions (EMEA, Americas and APAC). BCN PEG provides an opportunity to solve challenging business problems in a dynamic set-up working closely with global Bain teams, acting as a thought-partner with daily deliverables.
What you’ll do
Set product vision & strategy — Define and evolve a clear product vision grounded in user needs and Survey CoE priorities; identify where AI, automation, and new technology can most meaningfully improve the survey workflow; ensure products evolve as a coherent portfolio with defined success measures.
- Own the roadmap & priorities — Continuously prioritize initiatives across products balancing user value, strategic fit, technical feasibility, and capacity; make clear trade-offs and communicate rationale to stakeholders; partner with the Engineering Lead on constraints and dependencies.
- Lead product discovery — Build strong feedback loops with Survey CoE leadership and practitioners; structure ambiguous problems, develop hypotheses, and validate ideas through user research, product data, and prototypes before committing engineering capacity.
- Turn strategy into execution — Translate roadmap priorities into clear direction for Product Owners; review requirements for major initiatives; maintain delivery visibility and proactively address risks; ensure released capabilities solve the intended problem.
- Drive adoption & performance — Own overall portfolio success; define meaningful adoption and impact metrics; identify and address barriers to adoption; establish a continuous improvement cycle fed by user insights.
- Shape AI-enabled experiences — Identify where GenAI, agentic workflows, and automation create genuine value in the survey workflow; partner with Data/AI specialists to translate capabilities into reliable product experiences; define expected behaviors, success measures, and evaluation mechanisms for AI-powered features.
- Lead across the product team — Act as primary product counterpart to Survey CoE stakeholders; coach and develop Product Owners; establish consistent PM practices across squads; communicate direction and trade-offs clearly to senior leadership.
About You
An experienced product manager with strong user orientation, structured problem-solving, and sound commercial and technical judgment. Comfortable owning ambiguous problems, setting team direction, and operating at both the strategic and execution level simultaneously. Credible working with engineers and technical specialists on feasibility and trade-offs.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Design, or a related field
- 8–10+ years of relevant experience with significant time in product management or digital product delivery
- Demonstrated ownership of software/digital product roadmaps from problem identification through launch and iteration
- Experience managing multiple products or complex multi-module products strongly preferred
- Background in consulting, enterprise tech, SaaS, or fast-paced environments; experience with analytics, research, or survey products a plus
Key Skills
- Full product lifecycle ownership — discovery, prioritization, delivery, adoption, and continuous improvement
- Strong Agile/Scrum and Lean product-development practices; experience with Jira/Azure DevOps, Confluence
- Data-driven PM skills — KPI definition, usage/adoption analysis, experiment design; SQL or BI tool familiarity a plus
- Technical fluency across web applications, APIs, databases, cloud architectures, and SDLCs
- Strong understanding of AI/LLM product patterns — RAG, copilots, agentic workflows, human-in-the-loop design, responsible AI
- Familiarity with AI-powered development tools (Synthetic Users, V0, Lovable or equivalent)
- Working knowledge of Figma or similar prototyping tools
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint proficiency for senior stakeholder communication
Leadership
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional influence skills
- Strong written and verbal English communication with senior and non-technical audiences
- Experience coaching Product Owners or APMs; high ownership and comfort with ambiguity
- Ability to collaborate across functions, seniority levels, and geographies in a fast-paced environment
