Job Overview
We are looking for a responsible, detail-oriented, and proactive Chartered Accountant (CA) with around 1 year of relevant experience to manage day-to-day accounting, taxation and compliance work, business registrations, intellectual property documentation, and GeM Portal bidding / government tender-related activities.
The candidate should have practical knowledge of Financial Accounting, GST, Income Tax-related documentation, business registrations, Trademark & Copyright documentation, GeM Portal, tender/bid documentation, and statutory compliance.
Preference will be given to candidates who can independently handle accounting, registrations, documentation, online government portals, and GeM bidding activities while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities1. Accounting & Financial Management
- Maintain day-to-day financial accounting and bookkeeping.
- Prepare and maintain invoices, bills, vouchers, ledgers, and financial records.
- Handle bank reconciliation and account reconciliation.
- Assist in preparation of Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement, and basic financial reports.
- Maintain proper books of accounts and supporting documentation.
- Assist with TDS-related accounting and compliance work.
- Maintain accurate and confidential financial and business records.
2. GST & Tax Compliance
- Handle GST Registration for businesses.
- Manage GST registration amendments, updates, and cancellation-related documentation.
- Handle GST compliance and return-related documentation.
- Assist with GST return filing and reconciliation.
- Handle LUT, E-Way Bill, and E-Invoice-related work, wherever applicable.
- Maintain GST invoices and supporting records.
- Assist with GST notices, queries, and compliance documentation.
- Assist with Income Tax Return (ITR), TDS and other tax-related documentation/compliance as required.
3. Business Registrations & Compliance
The candidate should be able to handle or coordinate different types of business registrations and related documentation, including:
- Proprietorship Firm Setup / Registration
- Partnership Firm Registration
- LLP Registration
- Private Limited Company Registration
- One Person Company (OPC) Registration
- MSME / Udyam Registration
- Startup India / DPIIT Recognition
- PAN / TAN-related applications and documentation
- Import Export Code (IEC) Registration
- Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) coordination
- Shops & Establishment Registration
- FSSAI Registration / Licence
- EPFO Registration
- ESIC Registration
- Professional Tax Registration, wherever applicable
- Other applicable business licences, registrations, certificates, and government portal documentation.
The candidate should also maintain proper records and track the status, renewals, amendments, and compliance requirements of registrations handled by the company.
4. Trademark & Intellectual Property Documentation
- Handle Trademark Registration and related documentation.
- Conduct basic trademark application/status checks.
- Coordinate documentation required for trademark applications.
- Assist with trademark objection/reply documentation and other follow-up activities wherever required.
- Handle Copyright Registration and related documentation.
- Maintain records and track the status of Trademark and Copyright applications.
- Coordinate with clients and relevant professionals/teams for IP-related documentation whenever required.
5. GeM Portal – Registration, Bidding & Tender Management
- Handle and manage GeM (Government e-Marketplace) Portal-related activities.
- Assist with GeM Seller Registration and profile management.
- Manage seller profile, business details, bank details, and required documentation.
- Assist with Product and Service Catalogue creation/listing.
- Search and identify relevant GeM Bids / Government Tenders.
- Review bid requirements, eligibility criteria, specifications, terms, and documentation.
- Handle GeM Portal bidding and tender-related activities.
- Prepare required documents for GeM bids and ensure timely submission.
- Prepare and coordinate Technical Bid and Financial Bid documentation.
- Assist with BOQ and price-related documentation.
- Handle bid participation documentation, clarifications, and required online submissions.
- Assist with Reverse Auction (RA) activities wherever applicable.
- Track submitted bids, bid status, results, and related communication.
- Assist with order acceptance, documentation, invoicing, and order-related compliance on GeM.
- Maintain proper records of all bids, tenders, submitted documents, and outcomes.
6. Government Tender & Online Portal Work
- Search relevant government tenders and business opportunities.
- Review tender eligibility criteria and documentation requirements.
- Prepare and organize tender documents.
- Coordinate EMD, tender fee, declarations, certificates, and other required documentation wherever applicable.
- Ensure tender/bid documents are complete and submitted within deadlines.
- Maintain tender tracking records and status reports.
- Handle different government/business online portals as required.
7. Documentation & Client Coordination
- Prepare and maintain proper records of accounts, taxation, registrations, trademarks, copyrights, GeM bids, tenders, and compliance documents.
- Coordinate with clients for collection of required documents and information.
- Coordinate with vendors, government portals, consultants, and internal teams whenever required.
- Follow up on pending registrations, applications, bids, and compliance matters.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality of all financial and business documents.
- Maintain organized digital records suitable for a Work From Home environment.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of Financial Accounting & Bookkeeping.
- Practical knowledge of GST, GST Registration and GST Compliance.
- Knowledge of Income Tax, TDS and basic taxation compliance.
- Knowledge of different Business Registrations and Government Portals.
- Understanding of Company / LLP / Firm-related documentation and compliance.
- Understanding of Trademark Registration and related documentation.
- Understanding of Copyright Registration and documentation.
- Practical knowledge of GeM Portal, GeM Seller activities, Government Tender and Bidding.
- Ability to prepare and manage Technical & Financial Bid documentation.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, MS Office and computer applications.
- Comfortable working on different online government portals.
- Good documentation and record-management skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate professionally with clients and teams remotely.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to independently handle multiple assignments and follow-ups.
Eligibility
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred/required for this position.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant practical experience.
- Candidates having experience in Accounting, GST, Taxation, Business Registrations, Trademark/Copyright documentation, GeM Portal Bidding and Government Tenders will be preferred.
- Candidates comfortable with 6-day working and a Work From Home arrangement.
- Candidate should have a laptop/computer, reliable internet connection, and suitable WFH setup.
- Candidates who can independently manage documentation, accounting work, registrations, compliance, online portals, and GeM bidding will be strongly preferred.
Preferred Candidate Profile
We are specifically looking for a candidate who is multi-skilled and comfortable handling end-to-end business compliance work rather than only traditional accounting.
Experience in a combination of Accounting + GST + Business Registrations + Trademark/Copyright Documentation + GeM Portal Bidding + Government Tender Documentation will be an advantage.
