Full job description

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our Finance & Accounts team. The ideal candidate will assist with day-to-day accounting activities, maintain accurate financial records, support reconciliations and reporting, and ensure transactions are recorded in accordance with company policies and applicable accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

Record and maintain day-to-day financial transactions in accounting software.
Prepare and process invoices, bills, receipts, and payment entries.
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
Perform bank, vendor, and customer account reconciliations.
Maintain accurate ledgers and supporting financial documentation.
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and assist with follow-ups.
Assist with GST/TDS and other statutory accounting requirements, where applicable.
Verify expenses, invoices, and supporting documents for accuracy.
Maintain organized accounting records and ensure proper filing of documents.
Assist senior accountants and management with audits and financial analysis.
Identify discrepancies and assist in resolving accounting-related issues.
Perform other finance and accounting duties as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
0–2 years of relevant accounting experience; fresh graduates may also be considered.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
Good knowledge of MS Excel and familiarity with accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar platforms.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good numerical and analytical skills.
Ability to organize work effectively and meet deadlines.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian accounting practices.
Experience with ERP or accounting software.

Pay: ₹11,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
