Job Title: IT Coordinator Intern

Job Summary

Riskbirbal Insurance Broker Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a highly organized, analytical, and proactive IT Coordinator Intern to support the IT Department in tracking projects, monitoring daily activities, preparing MIS reports, and ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical abilities, advanced Excel skills, report preparation expertise, and a keen interest in leveraging AI tools to improve productivity and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

· Monitor and track all ongoing projects, tasks, and activities within the IT Department.

· Maintain a centralized tracker of all assigned tasks and ensure accurate daily updates.

· Record pending tasks of each team member and monitor the ageing of pending activities.

· Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for the IT Department.

· Coordinate with developers, QA, UI/UX designers, and other IT team members to collect project updates.

· Follow up with team members to ensure timely completion of assigned deliverables.

· Escalate delayed or overdue tasks to the Reporting Manager with appropriate status updates.

· Analyze task completion trends and identify bottlenecks affecting project timelines.

· Prepare project status reports, productivity reports, and performance summaries for management review.

· Maintain proper documentation of meetings, action items, and follow-up trackers.

· Assist in process improvements by using AI tools and automation to simplify reporting and operational activities.

· Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and timely submission of all departmental reports.

· Perform any additional coordination or administrative tasks assigned by the IT Head.

Desired Candidate Profile

· Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Applications, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, BBA, BCA, MCA, or a related field.

· Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills with a high aptitude for problem-solving.

· Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, IF formulas, Conditional Formatting, Data Validation, Power Query (preferred), and Dashboard creation.

· Good understanding of MIS reporting and data analysis.

· Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, Claude, or similar productivity tools.

· Quick learner with the ability to understand technical workflows and adapt to new technologies rapidly.

· Excellent organizational, coordination, and multitasking abilities.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· High attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.

· Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodology, or project management concepts will be an added advantage.
