Full job description

The Role

As our Senior SEO Manager, you will not just be managing keywords—you will be architecting a high-scale organic growth acquisition funnel. You will be responsible for scaling organic traffic for a dual-sided marketplace, optimizing paths for both high-ticket renters looking for premium charters and boat owners/vendors looking to list their assets.

This is a fully remote role requiring a self-starter who understands programmatic SEO, localized map pack domination, and how to scale content pipelines across multiple time zones.

Key Responsibilities

Attend Daily Team Meetings (Mon-Fri)
Marketplace Strategy: Define and execute the global and localized SEO roadmap to maximize organic bookings, vendor sign-ups, and luxury charter leads.
Programmatic & Scalable SEO: Oversee and scale automated landing page frameworks to dynamically capture thousands of long-tail, high-intent geo-targeted search terms (e.g., "yacht rental in Dubai Marina", "private boat charters near me").
Local SEO Domination: Dominate Google Business Profiles and local map packs across critical tourist regions, ensuring flawless citation management and localized review strategies.
Technical SEO Excellence: Conduct regular crawlability, indexation, and architecture audits. Partner directly with our remote engineering team to optimize Core Web Vitals, schema markup, and JavaScript rendering.
Remote Team Leadership: Manage and scale a distributed team of freelance content creators, editors, and link builders based in APAC and the Middle East, ensuring exceptional content velocity and quality.
Data & Analytics: Own organic KPIs. Build and maintain performance dashboards using GA4, Google Search Console, and Looker Studio to clearly map traffic to transactional revenue and ROI.
AI Search Optimization: Stay ahead of search engine evolutions by optimizing platform assets to continuously rank inside Google AI Overviews and conversational AI models.

Required Skills & Experience

Proven Track Record: 5+ years of dedicated SEO experience, with at least 2+ years scaling organic traffic specifically for P2P marketplaces, e-commerce networks, or travel-tech platforms.
Regional/Local Knowledge: Strong familiarity with local search landscapes in either the GCC/Middle East (specifically Dubai), India, or major APAC tourism markets.
Advanced Toolkit Master: Expert-level mastery of enterprise SEO tools, including Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, SurferSEO, and local citation platforms.
Technical Aptitude: Deep understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript framework impacts on search, URL structuring, international hreflang implementation, and custom marketplace CMS environments.
Data Literacy: Advanced skills in GA4 setup, conversion tracking, custom reporting, and leveraging data to find immediate monetization gaps.
Remote Workspace Native: Proven ability to thrive independently in a fully remote, multi-cultural, asynchronous work environment. High accountability and top-tier communication skills are mandatory.
