We are looking for a confident, engaging, and experienced Public Speaking Expert Tutor who can help children develop strong communication skills, confidence, presentation abilities, and effective speaking habits.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with children aged 4–14 and be able to make public speaking fun, interactive, and age-appropriate.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging and interactive online public speaking classes for children.
- Help students develop confidence while speaking in front of others.
- Teach effective communication, pronunciation, articulation, vocabulary, and expression.
- Train students in speech delivery, storytelling, presentations, debates, and impromptu speaking.
- Help students organize their thoughts and communicate ideas clearly and confidently.
- Develop students' body language, facial expressions, voice modulation, tone, and stage presence.
- Encourage students to overcome hesitation, nervousness, and fear of public speaking.
- Design age-appropriate activities, speaking exercises, role plays, and presentations.
- Provide constructive feedback on students' speaking performance and track their progress.
- Adapt teaching methods according to each student's age, personality, ability, and learning pace.
- Maintain a positive, encouraging, and child-friendly classroom environment.
- Communicate professionally with parents regarding student progress when required.
- Follow SkillWing Academy's curriculum, teaching standards, and class procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communication, Education, Performing Arts, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience teaching Public Speaking, Communication Skills, English, Debate, Drama, or Speech is preferred.
- Experience working with children aged 4–14 is highly desirable.
- Excellent spoken English with clear pronunciation and strong communication skills.
- Strong presentation and public speaking abilities.
- Ability to engage children and keep online classes interactive.
- Patient, encouraging, and comfortable working with young learners.
- Good understanding of age-appropriate teaching methodologies.
- Comfortable using online teaching platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet, or similar tools.
- Professional and reliable with good time-management skills.
