Organization: Jivika Chem International
Reporting to: General Manager
Target Markets: Africa, Asia, Europe, and emerging global hubs.
To aggressively expand Jivika Chem’s global footprint in the Raffia Bag segment. The incumbent will be responsible for the entire sales lifecycle—from identifying industrial/agricultural prospects in international territories to ensuring the technical specifications of the bags meet regional standards and closing high-volume export contracts.
1. Global Business Development
Identify and "touch base" with bulk buyers, including agricultural cooperatives, chemical plants, cement manufacturers, and large-scale distributors in Africa, Asia, and Europe.
Research regional packaging standards (e.g., MOCA regulations for food-grade bags in Europe or heavy-duty requirements for the mining sector in Africa).
2. Technical Solutioning & Coordination
Consult with clients to define exact bag requirements: dimensions, GSM (fabric weight), Denier (yarn thickness), Mesh count, and UV protection levels.
Act as the primary liaison between the client and the factory to ensure "exact match" production.
Translate client feedback into technical improvements for the manufacturing team.
3. Sampling & Quality Assurance
Manage the dispatch of samples and track client testing/approval phases.
Ensure all export samples meet the specific durability and printing (BOPP/Flexo) requirements of the target market.
4. Sales Operations & Closing
Negotiate pricing, payment terms (LC, TT, etc.), and Incoterms (CIF, FOB).
Execute rigorous follow-ups to convert leads into confirmed container-load orders.
Prepare and manage essential export documentation and shipment schedules.
Market Knowledge Understanding of regional demand (e.g., Rice/Sugar bags for SE Asia, Fertilizer/Cement bags for Africa).
Logistics Proficiency in container load optimization (20GP vs. 40HQ) and global shipping routes.
Compliance Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and regional food-safety or industrial packaging standards.
Candidate Profile
Experience: 5+ years in international sales specifically within the Plastic Packaging or Raffia industry.
Communication: Exceptional command of English; ability to communicate technical specs clearly to non-native speakers.
Drive: A "hunter" mindset with a proven track record of closing high-value B2B deals.
Total export volume (Metric Tons or Number of Bags) per quarter.
New market entry (number of new countries/regions opened).
Sample-to-Order conversion rate.
