Full job description

Job Title: Art Director

Location: Kolkata (Work from Office)
Experience: 3–5 Years
Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role

We are looking for a highly creative and experienced Art Director to lead the visual direction of branding, advertising, and digital campaigns. The ideal candidate should have a strong design portfolio, excellent conceptual thinking, and the ability to guide a creative team in delivering impactful visual communication across multiple platforms.

Key ResponsibilitiesCreative Direction

Develop creative concepts and visual strategies for branding, advertising, digital marketing, and social media campaigns.
Lead the visual execution of campaigns from concept to final delivery.
Ensure all creative outputs align with client objectives and brand guidelines.
Present creative concepts and design rationale to internal teams and clients.

Design & Execution

Design high-quality creatives for digital, print, branding, packaging, outdoor advertising, and marketing collateral.
Maintain consistency in visual identity across all communication channels.
Review and refine creative assets to ensure quality and attention to detail.
Stay updated with design trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices.

Team Leadership

Mentor, guide, and provide constructive feedback to graphic designers and junior creative team members.
Collaborate with copywriters, motion designers, photographers, videographers, and client servicing teams to deliver integrated campaigns.
Manage multiple projects while ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.

Client Collaboration

Understand client briefs and translate them into compelling visual solutions.
Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative creative ideas.
Incorporate client feedback while maintaining creative integrity.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or a related field.
3–5 years of experience in an advertising, branding, digital marketing, or creative agency.
Strong portfolio showcasing branding, campaign design, social media creatives, and integrated marketing projects.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma.
Strong understanding of typography, color theory, layout design, and visual storytelling.
Excellent conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

Experience in leading creative teams and managing client-facing projects.
Basic knowledge of motion graphics, video editing, or AI-powered creative tools is an added advantage.
Understanding of UI/UX design principles is a plus.
Experience working with FMCG, retail, real estate, healthcare, or corporate brands is preferred.
