As a Recruiter, you will drive recruitment success across Chennai by balancing hands-on delivery with strategic partnership. You will manage end-to-end hiring (Freelancer), lead campus recruitment, mentor team members, and support the operations in achieving hiring goals, improving processes, and strengthening the talent brand.
Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end recruitment for Freelancer across Chennai.
Develop effective sourcing strategies using job portals, social media, referrals, and networking.
Drive campus hiring across Chennai (Engineering Colleges, Arts & Science Colleges).
Track and report recruitment metrics (time-to-hire, quality of hire, etc.).
Partner with Operations Managers to plan hiring aligned with local market trends and resource availability.
Lead and mentor a team of recruiters and act as a point of contact for operation leaders.
Drive process improvements and recruitment efficiency.
Build strong relationships with colleges, placement cells, and training institutes.
Ensure diversity hiring initiatives, including gender diversity and regional representation.
Coordinate and manage interview processes with operations and stakeholders.
Build and maintain a talent pipeline for critical Freelancer roles.
Ensure compliance with hiring policies and processes.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in recruitment.
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition capacity.
Preference to candidates with basic knowledge of sports.
Proven success managing full-cycle recruitment in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Demonstrated experience leading campus hiring initiatives from strategy to execution.
Hands-on experience with job boards such as Naukri, LinkedIn, and other similar platforms is necessary.
Strong communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder-management skills.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and Applicant Tracking Systems.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret recruitment data and derive actionable insights.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Tamil language and English language proficiency are mandatory to ensure effective engagement with local stakeholders and leadership outside of Chennai.
5 days of work in the office are mandatory
