Social Media Marketing Manager

Job Summary

The Social Media Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, creating, and executing social media strategies to increase brand awareness, generate event inquiries, promote services, and engage audiences across digital platforms. The role involves content planning, campaign management, live event coverage, performance analysis, and lead generation.

Key ResponsibilitiesSocial Media Strategy

Develop and execute monthly social media marketing plans.
Create platform-specific strategies for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and X.
Increase followers, engagement, and brand visibility.

Content Management

Create content calendars and posting schedules.
Coordinate photo, video, reels, stories, and promotional creatives.
Write engaging captions, hashtags, and promotional copy.
Ensure consistent brand identity across all platforms.

Event Marketing

Promote corporate events, weddings, exhibitions, conferences, concerts, and product launches.
Manage pre-event, live-event, and post-event social media campaigns.
Coordinate live streaming, event updates, and audience engagement.

Digital Advertising

Plan and manage Meta (Facebook & Instagram), Google, and LinkedIn advertising campaigns.
Optimize ad budgets for maximum reach and lead generation.
Monitor campaign performance and improve ROI.

Lead Generation

Generate quality leads through social media campaigns.
Coordinate with the sales team to convert inquiries into bookings.
Track campaign conversions and customer engagement.

Community Management

Respond to comments, messages, and customer inquiries.
Build relationships with followers, influencers, and partners.
Manage online reputation and customer feedback.

Analytics & Reporting

Track KPIs including reach, engagement, impressions, website traffic, and lead generation.
Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports.
Recommend improvements based on analytics.

Team Coordination

Work with graphic designers, photographers, videographers, content writers, and event managers.
Coordinate with clients to gather event details and promotional requirements.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and X.
Experience with Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads.
Content planning and copywriting.
Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, or similar creative tools.
Video editing and reel creation.
SEO and social media analytics.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Creativity and attention to detail.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Digital Marketing, Business, or a related field.
2–5 years of experience in social media marketing, preferably in the events, hospitality, or entertainment industry.
Digital marketing certifications are an added advantage.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Growth in followers and engagement rate.
Number of qualified leads generated.
Event registrations or bookings from social media.
ROI on paid advertising campaigns.
Website traffic from social media.
Content reach and video views.
Client satisfaction and campaign performance.
