Job Summary
OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
The SAP BTP Fiori Developer will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing next-generation user experiences on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) using SAP Fiori. This position is crucial for advancing HCLTech’s digital transformation agenda, delivering innovative solutions, and enhancing business processes for our global clients. The role offers significant scope, as it directly contributes to the company’s objectives of enabling seamless, intuitive, and scalable enterprise applications.
DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, customize, and deploy SAP Fiori applications on SAP BTP, ensuring optimal user experience and performance.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements, analyze processes, and translate them into robust SAP solutions.
- Integrate SAP Fiori apps with backend systems using OData services and SAP Gateway.
- Optimize and enhance existing SAP Fiori applications, implementing best practices for security, scalability, and maintainability.
- Participate in agile development cycles, contribute to code reviews, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP Fiori applications, ensuring timely and effective support.
- Stay current with SAP BTP and Fiori advancements, proactively recommending improvements and innovations.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in SAP Fiori development, including expertise in SAPUI5 and OData.
- Strong familiarity with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and cloud deployment models.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and related web technologies.
- Experience with SAP Gateway, ABAP, and integration techniques.
- Solid understanding of UX principles and agile development methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS (OPTIONAL)
- SAP Fiori certification or SAP BTP related certifications.
- Experience in DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native development.
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and advanced integration scenarios.
- Prior experience working in multinational or large-scale enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with security standards and data privacy within SAP solutions.

Skill Requirements
1. Proven experience as a technical lead in sap ux fiori development projects
2. In-depth knowledge of sap fiori, sapui5, and sap gateway
3. Proficiency in sap web ide, sap cloud platform, and sap hana
4. Strong understanding of ux design principles and best practices
5. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
6. Ability to lead and collaborate with cross functional teams
7. Good communication and interpersonal skills
8. Relevant certifications in sap fiori development or related areas would be a plus
