About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Full Stack Web Developer to lead the development and maintenance of modern websites, web applications, and e-commerce platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in full-stack development, WordPress, Shopify, WooCommerce, and the MERN Stack, along with a solid understanding of website performance, security, and SEO best practices.
Key ResponsibilitiesFull Stack Web Development
- Design, develop, test, and maintain responsive websites and web applications.
- Lead full-stack development projects using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js (MERN Stack).
- Develop custom features, APIs, and integrations for web applications.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, digital marketers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Ensure code quality, scalability, security, and maintainability through best development practices.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers when required.
CMS & E-commerce Development
- Develop and customize websites using WordPress.
- Build and manage Shopify stores and custom Shopify features.
- Develop and maintain WooCommerce-based e-commerce websites.
- Install, configure, and customize themes, plugins, and third-party integrations.
- Optimize checkout flows, payment gateway integrations, and overall e-commerce performance.
Website Performance & Maintenance
- Optimize website speed, security, SEO readiness, and overall performance.
- Troubleshoot complex website and application issues.
- Manage hosting environments, domains, SSL certificates, and deployment processes.
- Perform regular updates, backups, and maintenance activities.
SEO & Technical Optimization
- Implement technical SEO best practices during development.
- Optimize site structure, metadata, URLs, schema markup, and page performance.
- Integrate analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO monitoring tools.
- Work closely with the marketing team to improve search visibility and user experience.
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and PHP.
- Strong experience with React.js and modern front-end development.
- Strong experience with Node.js and Express.js.
- Good working knowledge of MongoDB and database design.
- Expertise in WordPress development (custom themes, plugins, and performance optimization).
- Hands-on experience with Shopify development and customization.
- Strong experience with WooCommerce development.
- Experience with REST APIs, third-party integrations, and database connectivity.
- Knowledge of Git/GitHub and version control workflows.
- Understanding of hosting, cPanel, server environments, and deployment processes.
- Knowledge of website security, caching, and performance optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with SEO fundamentals and technical SEO implementation.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4–8+ years of professional experience in full-stack web development.
- Experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, or DevOps practices is an advantage.
- Understanding of UI/UX principles and responsive design standards.
