In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Leading quality assurance activities for desktop applications and connected device ecosystems, ensuring product quality, reliability, and performance.
- Defining and driving test strategies, test plans, and quality processes aligned with project objectives, technical requirements, and business goals.
- Reviewing and analyzing requirements, user stories, technical design documents, and specifications to identify test scenarios, quality risks, and coverage gaps early in the development lifecycle.
- Designing, developing, and maintaining comprehensive test artifacts, including test plans, test cases, test data, defect reports, traceability matrices, and execution reports.
- Mentoring and guiding automation engineers and junior QA team members, promoting best practices in testing, automation, and quality engineering.
- Designing, developing, and enhancing automation frameworks, reusable test assets, and automated test scripts to improve test efficiency and coverage.
- Executing and overseeing manual and automated testing activities across functional, integration, regression, system, end-to-end, and non-functional testing areas.
- Identifying, logging, tracking, and driving resolution of defects throughout the defect lifecycle while collaborating closely with development teams and stakeholders.
- Developing and executing non-functional test scenarios, including performance, reliability, usability, and security validation.
- Conducting test reviews, automation code reviews, and quality audits to ensure adherence to established testing standards and best practices.
- Monitoring and reporting quality metrics, test progress, defect trends, and release readiness to project stakeholders and management.
- Collaborating effectively with developers, product owners, architects, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and successful product delivery.
- Supporting CI/CD practices by integrating automated tests into build and deployment pipelines to enable continuous testing and faster feedback cycles.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance testing methodologies, automation capabilities, tools, and quality processes.
Contributing to release planning, risk assessment, and go-live activities to ensure successful and high-quality software delivery

Who You Are:
- B.E/B. Tech or M. Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related Engineering discipline..
Should have demonstrated ability in Software testing and very strong experience in automation testing.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Minimum 8-10 years of hands-on experience with automation scripting tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright would be preferred etc.
- Working knowledge of any scripting or programming language. Working Experience with Python or C# would be preferred.
- Working knowledge with Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps
- Should be familiar with defect tracking tools
- Should be familiar with VMWare / vSphere / HyperV
- Exposure to AI-assisted development tools
Experience with application deployment using CI/CD in DevOps environment like Jenkins, Azure
