About the Job:
Conduct model checks and/or creating parametric models with available CAD packages Uni-Graphics (NX) and perform the sensitivity studies within the simulation and design space.
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct model checks and/or creating parametric models with available CAD packages.
Uni-Graphics (NX) and perform the sensitivity studies within the simulation and design space.
Able to generate the CFD mesh/model in Hypermesh and TGrid.
Able to run flow/thermal analysis using Ansys fluent and analyze the results independently.
Able to prepare the reports clearly and to guide team member.
Utilize the analytical skill set and simulation tools to analyze the fluid flow systems and recommendations for design improvements at different stages of product development process.
To drive the virtual testing and reducing the physical tests, develop and improve of current best practices of the computational methods to increase simulation accuracy.
Participate and support the potential product development opportunities on a global level and provide technical expertise towards design solution.
Requirements:
1. CFD analysis experience(Turbulence flow, Multi-Phase flow, Evaporation etc.)
2. Ability to use of Higher-level programing language(C Language, UDF for Ansys Fluent)
3. Automation program development experience
4. Solid knowledge in the fundamentals of fluid mechanics, computational methods concerning fluid flow and heat transfer.
5. Working simulation knowledge on steady & unsteady fluid flow analysis, Thermal Analysis.
6. Working Knowledge on the multi-objective optimization techniques is preferred.
Air Conditioning product experience is an added advantage.
7. Proactive towards identifying the issues and solving the problems.
8. Ability to work independently and as a team player. Able to handle CFD engineer team
9. Individual leadership: Quick learner, self-motivated, ownership, timeline commitment, discipline, etc.
Educational qualifications preferred:
M.Tech ( Thermal Engineering / Fluid Mechanics/ Aerodynamics) preferably from IISC/IIT/NIT.
Required work experience;
3-7 years (Preferably in Home appliance e.g. Air Conditioner, Refrigerator)
Required Competencies:
CAD: Unigraphics, CFD Meshing - Hypermesh, Analysis : Ansys –Fluent,
