Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Executive – Purchase to support procurement activities for our FMCG operations. The ideal candidate should have 1–2 years of experience in purchase, vendor coordination, and inventory management. The role involves ensuring timely procurement of raw materials, packaging materials, and other operational requirements while maintaining quality, cost, and delivery standards.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in sourcing and procuring raw materials, packaging materials, and consumables.
Generate and process Purchase Orders (POs) in the ERP system.
Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate within approved limits.
Maintain vendor database and purchase records.
Follow up with suppliers regarding order status and delivery schedules.
Coordinate with Stores, Production, Quality, and Finance departments.
Monitor inventory levels and initiate purchase requests to avoid stock shortages.
Ensure purchased materials meet quality standards and company specifications.
Support vendor evaluation and performance monitoring.
Prepare purchase reports and MIS as required by management.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.

Required Skills

Knowledge of procurement and purchasing processes.
Basic negotiation and vendor management skills.
Familiarity with ERP Systems
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook..
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under deadlines with attention to detail.
