Full job description

We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Company Secretary. The Company Secretary will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and supporting the effective functioning of the company. Key responsibilities include:

Managing and maintaining statutory registers and records in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Organizing and facilitating board meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and managing follow-up actions.
Assisting in the drafting and filing of corporate documents, such as annual reports, resolutions, and disclosures.
Providing advice and guidance to the board of directors on corporate governance matters and regulatory developments.
Liaising with regulatory authorities, auditors, and external advisors on company secretarial and compliance issues.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field; additional qualifications such as ICSA certification preferred.
Proven experience working as a company secretary or in a similar corporate governance role.
Thorough understanding of company law, corporate governance principles, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
