Role description

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer with strong expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, REST APIs, and AWS to design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate should have experience building enterprise-grade backend services, microservices, and API-driven architectures while following best engineering practices. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js and TypeScript. Build and enhance RESTful APIs and microservices-based solutions. Develop cloud-native applications leveraging AWS services. Implement secure, high-performing, and resilient backend systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical design sessions. Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability. Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues while ensuring system stability. Mentor junior team members and contribute to engineering best practices. Mandatory Skills Node.js TypeScript REST API Development AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, S3, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, or related services) Microservices Architecture SQL and/or NoSQL Databases Git and CI/CD Practices Strong understanding of Software Design Patterns and Backend Architecture Good to Have Kotlin Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation) Docker and Kubernetes Event-driven Architecture (Kafka, SNS, SQS) Observability and Monitoring Tools Serverless Application Development Agile/Scrum Methodologies
