We are looking for a motivated PHP & Laravel Developer (Fresher) to join our development team. The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining backend functionality, working with databases, building reusable PHP modules, and integrating backend services with front-end components.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications using PHP and Laravel.
- Build efficient, reusable, and maintainable PHP modules.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs.
- Work with databases and data storage solutions.
- Integrate backend functionality with front-end components.
- Write clean, secure, and well-structured code.
- Debug and troubleshoot application issues.
- Participate in code reviews and learn best development practices.
- Work with Git for source code management.
- Collaborate with other developers to deliver application features.
- Learn and work with existing application architecture and coding standards.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 0–1 year of experience in PHP development; freshers are welcome to apply.
- Good understanding of PHP fundamentals.
- Basic to good knowledge of Laravel.
- Basic understanding of MVC architecture.
- Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) in PHP.
- Basic understanding of MySQL and SQL queries.
- Basic understanding of REST APIs and backend development.
- Basic knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Basic knowledge of Git and version control.
- Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and work as part of a development team.
Good to Have
- Basic knowledge of CodeIgniter or another PHP framework.
- Knowledge of Laravel features such as Eloquent ORM, migrations, routing, middleware, validation, authentication, and Blade templates.
- Academic or personal projects built using PHP/Laravel.
- Understanding of database relationships and query optimization.
