Job Title: Business Development Manager (IT Services)
Location: Kolkata (On-site)
Company: Webskitters Technology Solutions

Employment Type: Full-Time Onsite

About the Role

Role Objective The candidate will be responsible for converting qualified opportunities into signed projects. This is primarily a sales closure role, not a lead-generation or appointment-setting position. The person should have proven experience in handling client discussions, solution presentations, commercial negotiations, proposal follow-ups, objection handling and final contract closure.

Key Responsibilities

Own qualified sales opportunities from the discovery stage through commercial closure.
 Handle client meetings, requirement discussions, solution presentations and commercial negotiations.
 Coordinate with pre-sales, technical and delivery teams to prepare proposals, estimates, presentations and statements of work.
 Understand the client’s business requirements and position the appropriate technology or digital solution.
 Follow up consistently with decision-makers and move opportunities through the sales pipeline.
 Negotiate pricing, payment terms, project scope and contractual conditions without compromising project profitability.
 Maintain an accurate opportunity pipeline, closure probability, expected deal value and expected closure date in the CRM.
 Build relationships with founders, CXOs, business owners and senior decision-makers.
 Manage both domestic clients and selected international opportunities.
 Achieve agreed monthly and quarterly revenue closure targets.
 Support account growth, upselling and cross-selling opportunities wherever applicable.

Excellent written and spoken English.
Strong proposal writing skills.
Experience in international client handling.
Knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodology.
Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
Strong analytical and requirement gathering abilities.
Target-oriented mindset.
Ability to work independently and under deadlines. Preferred Experience Candidates from IT service companies, software development agencies, or digital agencies with experience in winning international projects will be preferred.

Mandatory Experience and Eligibility

 Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B sales, IT services sales, software services, digital solutions or technology consulting sales.  Strong domestic sales experience is mandatory.  International sales or international client-handling experience is required.
