Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated QA Automation Intern who is interested in software testing, automation, and quality engineering. The intern will work closely with development and QA teams to identify issues and improve software quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and maintaining automated test cases.
- Perform functional and regression testing.
- Create and execute test scenarios and test cases.
- Identify, document, and track software defects.
- Assist in API testing and validation.
- Perform basic UI and integration testing.
- Support automation testing using modern testing frameworks.
- Analyze test results and prepare test reports.
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve defects.
- Participate in software quality and testing discussions.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of software testing concepts.
- Knowledge of manual testing fundamentals.
- Basic programming knowledge in Python, Java, JavaScript, or similar languages.
- Understanding of test cases and bug reporting.
- Familiarity with Git.
- Basic understanding of web applications and APIs.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar tools.
- Basic knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman.
- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts.
- Basic understanding of SQL.
- Experience with personal or academic testing projects.
