Job Description – Front-End Sales Executive

Position Details

Department: Sales

Designation: Front-End Sales Executive

Location: Coimbatore

Experience: 4–10 Years

Working Days: Monday to Saturday

Vehicle Requirement: Candidate must own a 2-Wheeler.

Job Summary

The Front-End Sales Executive is responsible for business development, client acquisition, and relationship management by promoting transformer solutions to industrial, commercial, and infrastructure clients, ensuring revenue growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Lead Generation

Identify and develop new business opportunities in target industries.
Generate leads through cold calling, site visits, networking, and referrals.
Build and maintain a strong customer pipeline.

2. Client Engagement & Relationship Management

Meet clients, consultants, EPC contractors, and end users to understand their requirements.
Build long-term relationships with customers and act as the primary point of contact.

3. Exhibitions, Conferences & Networking

Attend industry exhibitions, technical conferences, seminars, and networking events.
Represent the company and promote transformer products and solutions.
Generate leads, expand business networks, and gather market intelligence.

4. Technical Discussion & Solution Selling

Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable transformer solutions.
Explain technical features, applications, and product advantages.
Coordinate with the design and backend teams for technical proposals.

5. Quotation & Negotiation

Coordinate with the backend team for timely quotation submission.
Present techno-commercial offers to customers.
Handle commercial negotiations and convert enquiries into orders.

6. Order Closure & Revenue Generation

Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Develop a healthy enquiry and order pipeline.
Drive revenue growth through effective customer engagement.

7. Project Coordination

Coordinate with internal departments for order processing, documentation, and delivery schedules.
Keep customers updated on project progress.

8. Market Intelligence

Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and product offerings.
Identify market trends and customer requirements.
Share market insights with management to support business strategies.

9. Payment & Commercial Follow-up

Follow up for advance payments and milestone payments.
Ensure compliance with commercial terms and timely payment collections.

10. After-Sales Support

Ensure customer satisfaction after product delivery.
Coordinate with internal teams to resolve customer issues.
Build long-term customer relationships for repeat business and referrals.

Key Skills Required

· Experience in transformer / electrical equipment sales (preferred).

· Strong understanding of electrical basics and transformer applications.

· Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

· Ability to handle client meetings and technical discussions.

· Willingness to travel for client visits and site meetings.

Soft Skills

· Strong relationship-building and networking ability.

· High confidence and persuasive communication.

· Result-oriented mindset with strong closing ability.

· Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.

· Ability to work independently and drive sales targets.

· Adaptability in a competitive, fast-paced environment
