Key Responsibilities:
1. Auditing and Accounting:
- Assist in performing audit engagements, including planning, execution, and reporting, under the guidance of senior team members.
- Participate in the preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Help with the preparation and filing of tax returns and other regulatory compliance documentation.
2. Client Services:
- Support client interactions by gathering and analyzing financial information and addressing client queries under supervision.
- Assist in conducting internal audits and providing recommendations for process improvements and compliance.
3. Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and organized documentation of all work performed, including audit working papers and financial reports.
- Prepare and review working papers and schedules for various accounting and audit assignments.
4. Learning and Development:
- Actively participate in training sessions, workshops, and seminars to enhance knowledge and skills related to accounting and auditing.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in accounting standards, tax laws, and industry best practices.
5. Administrative Support:
- Assist with various administrative tasks related to audit and accounting assignments, including scheduling meetings and coordinating with clients.
- Provide support in the preparation of presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Enrollment in the CA (Chartered Accountant) course with a recognized accounting body.
- Recent graduates with a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field are encouraged to apply.
- Strong academic record with a solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with numerical data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with accounting software is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
