Technical Support Trainee – Job Description

Job Title: Technical Support Trainee
Department: Servico / Customer Success
Experience: Fresher
Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat

About the Role

We are looking for enthusiastic and technically inclined Technical Support Trainees to join our Servico/Customer Success team. The selected candidates will be trained to provide technical support for biometric devices, software, and related products.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical support to customers through calls, chat, email, and ticketing systems.
Assist with installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of biometric devices and software.
Support fingerprint, iris, Aadhaar authentication, access control, POS/MicroATM, and related devices.
Diagnose and resolve basic hardware, software, operating system, and connectivity issues.
Perform basic Windows installation, software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Provide remote technical assistance using tools such as AnyDesk.
Troubleshoot basic networking, browser, IP, USB, driver, and peripheral-related issues.
Maintain proper records of customer issues, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.
Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate L2/technical team.
Follow defined SOPs, SLA requirements, and customer-support processes.

Required Skills

Basic knowledge of Computer Hardware & Software.
Understanding of CPU components and computer peripherals.
Basic knowledge of Windows OS and Control Panel.
Basic understanding of Networking concepts such as IP address, LAN, Wi-Fi, and connectivity.
Knowledge of browser settings and software installation.
Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
Good communication and customer-handling skills.
Willingness to learn biometric technology and technical support processes.

Educational Qualification

Any Graduate – BCA / B.Sc. IT / B.Sc. Computer Science / B.Com / BA / BBA or equivalent.
Diploma / IT-related qualification candidates can also be considered.
Freshers are encouraged to apply.

Training & Compensation

Training Period: 1 Month
Training Stipend: ₹10,000 per month
Post-Training Salary: As per applicable company structure
Employment: On-roll, subject to successful completion of training and evaluation.
Service Agreement: 18 months
Retention Incentive: Eligible employees completing the applicable service period may receive a milestone incentive as per company policy.

Ideal Candidate

A candidate who is technically curious, patient, customer-focused, and comfortable troubleshooting computer/device-related issues. Candidates from non-IT backgrounds with good computer fundamentals and a willingness to learn can also be considered.

Career Growth

Technical Support Trainee → L1 Product Support Engineer → L2 Support Engineer → Senior Support Engineer → Technical Lead / Customer Success / Product Support Specialist

Pay: ₹15,000.00 per month
