digimark is a Dubai-headquartered digital marketing agency helping brands across the GCC and India grow through data-driven marketing, content, and web solutions. We're expanding our Guruvayur team and looking for a skilled Web Developer to join us.
Role Overview
We're looking for a Web Developer to design, build, and maintain websites and web applications for our clients. You'll work closely with our design and marketing teams to deliver fast, responsive, and SEO-friendly websites for clients across the GCC and India.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain websites (WordPress, Shopify, or custom builds)
- Write clean, efficient front-end code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Build and maintain back-end functionality (PHP, Node.js, or similar)
- Ensure websites are responsive, cross-browser compatible, and mobile-optimized
- Optimize site speed, performance, and technical SEO
- Integrate third-party APIs, plugins, and tools as needed
- Troubleshoot and fix bugs, downtime, and technical issues
- Collaborate with designers to convert UI/UX mockups into functional pages
- Manage hosting, domains, and basic server configurations
- Maintain version control using Git
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in web development (agency experience preferred)
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript; experience with React or similar frameworks a plus
- Experience with WordPress/Shopify theme customization and plugin development
- Working knowledge of PHP, MySQL, or Node.js
- Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
- Familiarity with Git, hosting environments (cPanel, AWS, etc.)
- Basic understanding of on-page SEO principles
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
