## About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Lead Data Analyst to join our Marketing & Content Analytics team. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA), marketing analytics, content performance measurement, and data quality management. In this role, you will transform complex datasets into actionable business insights, optimize marketing processes, and establish robust data governance frameworks that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Insights Generation
* Perform comprehensive Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and opportunities within marketing and content datasets.
* Analyze campaign performance, customer journeys, engagement metrics, and conversion funnels.
* Translate complex analytical findings into clear business recommendations for stakeholders.
* Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
* Present actionable insights to business leaders and cross-functional teams.
### Marketing & Content Analytics
* Evaluate the performance of digital content, social media campaigns, SEO initiatives, email marketing, and other marketing channels.
* Identify audience behavior, engagement trends, and conversion drivers.
* Support marketing and content strategy through data-backed recommendations.
* Measure campaign effectiveness and recommend optimization opportunities.
### Process Analysis & Optimization
* Develop a comprehensive understanding of end-to-end marketing and content workflows.
* Identify process inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for automation and improvement.
* Collaborate with marketing, product, engineering, and business teams to improve data collection and reporting processes.
* Drive continuous improvements in analytics methodologies and operational efficiency.
Data Quality & Governance
* Design and implement data quality frameworks, validation rules, and monitoring processes.
* Ensure data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and reliability across multiple data sources.
* Establish best practices for data governance, documentation, and quality assurance.
* Monitor data integrity throughout the data lifecycle and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
Advanced Analytics
* Apply statistical analysis and analytical techniques to uncover deeper business insights.
* Build predictive and descriptive analytical models where applicable.
* Improve reporting methodologies and analytics frameworks.
* Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making across business functions.
## Required Skills & Qualifications
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
* 6–8 years of experience in Marketing Analytics, Business Analytics, or Data Analytics.
* Strong hands-on experience with Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA).
* Advanced proficiency in SQL for querying, transformation, and analysis.
* Strong programming skills in Python or R for data analysis and statistical modeling.
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
* Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI platforms.
* Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
* Experience working with large datasets and multiple data sources
* Experience with digital marketing platforms such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar tools.
