Position Overview: Solar Service Engineer
Statcon Powtech Private Limited is seeking dedicated and technically skilled Solar Service Engineers to provide prompt and efficient after-sales service support for the company's solar inverter product range within their assigned locations.
This is a field-based technical role focused on installation support, commissioning assistance, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosis, repair, and customer service for solar inverter systems. The selected candidates will ensure timely resolution of service requests while maintaining high customer satisfaction and supporting the company's growing service network.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Attend customer complaints and service requests within the assigned territory.
- Perform installation support, commissioning assistance, and functional testing of solar inverters.
- Diagnose electrical and electronic faults in solar inverter systems.
- Carry out preventive maintenance and routine health inspections of installed systems.
- Repair and replace defective components whenever required.
- Coordinate with the Technical Support Team for complex technical issues.
- Maintain proper service records, inspection reports, and customer visit reports.
- Educate customers on the proper operation and basic maintenance of Statcon products.
- Ensure timely closure of service complaints while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
- Maintain service tools, testing instruments, and company-issued equipment properly.
- Report recurring technical issues and product feedback to the engineering department.
- Follow all company safety procedures and electrical safety guidelines while working at customer sites.
- Submit daily, weekly, and monthly service reports to the reporting manager.
Qualifications & Skills
- ITI (Electrical) or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Valid Driving Licence (DL) is compulsory.
- Basic understanding of electrical wiring, power electronics, and solar inverter systems.
- Good troubleshooting and fault diagnosis skills.
- Ability to work independently in the assigned service territory.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned location.
- Freshers may also apply.
Employment Prerequisites
- The candidate will independently handle installation support, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and servicing activities within the assigned location.
- Candidates should be based in or willing to relocate to the assigned city.
- The candidate must arrange food and accommodation independently.
- Travel allowance and service-related reimbursements will be provided as per company policy.
- Immediate joining will be preferred.

Pay: ₹13,157.00 - ₹20,727.00 per month
