Full job description

The ideal candidate for the position of product engineer - sdet should have a minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in the field. They should have a strong background in software development and testing, with a focus on creating and maintaining high-quality products. The candidate should have a deep understanding of software engineering principles and be able to apply them to develop efficient and scalable solutions. They should also have experience with various programming languages, such as Java, Python, or C++, and be familiar with automation tools and frameworks. The candidate should have a keen eye for detail and be able to identify and troubleshoot complex issues. They should also possess excellent communication skills and be able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. The candidate should be highly motivated, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required for this role.

Design, develop, and maintain software applications and systems for testing
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and design test strategies
Write and execute automated test scripts to ensure quality and functionality of software products
Identify and report software defects and work with development teams to resolve issues
Create and maintain test cases and test data to cover all aspects of software functionality
Perform manual testing when necessary and document results
Conduct performance, load, and stress testing to ensure scalability and stability of software products
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in software testing methodologies
Collaborate with product managers and developers to prioritize and plan testing efforts
Communicate test results and progress to stakeholders and management
Provide support and assistance to other team members as needed
Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and procedures
Ensure compliance with company standards and best practices for software testing
