Full job description

Hiring: Sr. Executive – Business Development

Location: Rajoda-Bavla, Ahmedabad, Gujarat
Industry: Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) / ESDM
Experience: 5–7 Years
CTC: ₹8–10 LPA
Industry Requirement: Automotive EMS experience is mandatory

About the Organization

We are an Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) / ESDM organization in the Greenfield phase at Rajoda-Bavla, Ahmedabad, building world-class capabilities in PCBA and Box Build with a strong focus on quality, compliance, and high-reliability manufacturing.

We are looking for a proactive and target-oriented Sr. Executive – Business Development to drive new customer acquisition and revenue growth for our EMS/ESDM business.

Key Responsibilities

Drive new business development in EMS/ESDM.
Generate leads, prospect customers, and build a strong sales pipeline.
Identify and develop new customers across automotive, industrial, medical, aerospace/defence, and consumer sectors.
Handle RFQs end-to-end, including requirement understanding, feasibility coordination, costing inputs, and proposal submission.
Drive customer engagement, commercial discussions, negotiations, and closure.
Understand PCBA / Box Build costing drivers.
Coordinate with Engineering, NPI, Sourcing, Quality, and Manufacturing teams for RFQ-to-PO conversion.
Arrange customer visits, plant tours, capability presentations, and program kick-offs.
Maintain opportunity stages, follow-ups, and customer interactions through CRM/Excel.
Support NDA, vendor onboarding, commercial terms, and other documentation.
Ensure smooth handover of won business to NPI/Program Management.

Must-Have Requirements

New Business Development experience in EMS/ESDM – Mandatory
Automotive EMS industry experience – Mandatory
Lead generation, prospecting, and pipeline management.
Customer engagement and proposal/quotation closure.
Strong understanding of PCBA / Box Build manufacturing.
Experience with proactive customer hunting and new account acquisition.
Ability to understand technical requirements and convert them into business proposals.

Qualification

B.E./B.Tech in Electronics / Mechanical / Production preferred.
MBA in Marketing/Sales will be an added advantage.
5–7 years of experience in Business Development/Sales in EMS/ESDM, contract manufacturing, or engineering products.
Exposure to PCBA, Box Build, electromechanical assembly, cable harness, sheet metal/plastic sourcing is an advantage.

Ideal Candidate

Target-oriented and proactive in customer acquisition.
Strong in communication and relationship building.
Persistent with excellent follow-up and closure skills.
Comfortable working in a Greenfield/startup environment.
Comfortable with high ownership, accountability, and responsibility.
Interested in building a BD function and creating long-term business impact.

Not suitable for candidates who prefer only inbound leads, avoid sales targets/follow-ups, or are uncomfortable with ambiguity and proactive business development.

Note: Automotive EMS experience is mandatory.

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
