Full job description

Preparing accurate architectural drawings (plans, elevations, sections, details, and working drawings).
Coordinating with architects and engineers to incorporate design changes.
Ensuring drawings comply with local building rules, zoning regulations, and permit requirements.
Preparing documents required for building permit applications.
Operating the K-SMART portal for building permit submissions, including:
Uploading drawings and required documents.
Checking submission requirements and compliance.
Responding to queries or objections raised by the local authority.
Tracking application status and coordinating revisions until approval.
Verifying plot details, setbacks, FAR/FSI, coverage, parking, and other statutory requirements before submission.
Maintaining project records, drawing revisions, and submission documentation.
Coordinating with clients, surveyors, structural engineers, and local government offices when needed.
Mentoring junior draftsmen and reviewing their drawings for quality and accuracy.
Ensuring CAD/BIM standards are followed within the office.

Skills expected

Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD (and often Revit, SketchUp, or similar tools).
Strong knowledge of local building rules and permit procedures.
Hands-on experience with the K-SMART building permit submission process.
Ability to identify and correct compliance issues before submission.
Good communication and coordination skills.

Mandatory Requirement: Hands-on experience with K-SMART building permit submissions, including preparation, online application, document upload, compliance verification, responding to authority queries, and obtaining approvals.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
