Job Description – Project Coordinator

Location: Anna Nagar & ECR, Chennai

Job Summary

We are looking for a Project Coordinator – Residential Interior to coordinate and support the execution of residential interior projects from planning to completion. The role involves coordinating with Project Managers, site teams, clients, factory, logistics, vendors, and installation teams to ensure projects are completed on time and as per quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate day-to-day activities of residential interior projects.
Assist Project Managers in planning, scheduling, and monitoring project activities.
Coordinate with site supervisors, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and other installation teams.
Review work orders, drawings, BOQs, and project schedules.
Coordinate material dispatch and delivery as per project requirements.
Follow up with factory, logistics, procurement, and installation teams.
Track project progress and ensure activities are completed within the scheduled timeline.
Coordinate site measurements, installation schedules, and site visits.
Maintain project status reports, checklists, and other project documentation.
Identify site-related issues, delays, or material requirements and escalate them to the Project Manager.
Coordinate with clients regarding site schedules, work progress, and pending activities.
Follow up on rectification and snag-list closure.
Ensure proper coordination between internal teams and site execution teams.
Support the Project Manager in final inspection, project completion, and handover.
Maintain daily and weekly project updates and MIS reports.

Candidate Requirements

BE / B.Tech in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in residential interiors, construction, fit-out, or project coordination.
Good understanding of residential interior execution.
Strong coordination, follow-up, and communication skills.
Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word, email, and basic project tracking tools.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and coordinate with different teams.
Willingness to travel to residential project sites across Anna Nagar, ECR, and nearby areas.
