We are looking for a dedicated Radiology Technician to join First Scans, a leading healthcare facility in Chennai. As a Radiology Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting with diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring accurate and high-quality results. This position is vital for providing timely and precise medical imaging services to our patients, contributing to their overall healthcare experience.

As a Radiology Technician at First Scans, you will be involved in a variety of projects, including conducting X-rays, CT scans, and other imaging procedures. Your attention to detail, technical skills, and compassionate approach will be essential in helping physicians diagnose and treat medical conditions effectively. Responsibilities:

Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and ensure their comfort and safety.
Operate imaging equipment to obtain diagnostic images as requested by physicians.
Follow protocols to ensure the quality and accuracy of images produced.
Assist radiologists in interpreting images and providing preliminary findings.
Maintain patient records and confidentiality of information.
Monitor and ensure compliance with safety regulations and radiation protection measures.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of imaging equipment.

Requirements:

Completion of a recognized Radiology Technician program.
Valid certification as a Radiology Technician.
Strong knowledge of radiologic procedures and imaging techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Attention to detail and accuracy in performing imaging procedures.
Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and regulations.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
