Full job description

Key Responsibilities

Legal & Compliance

Manage day-to-day legal matters of the company and its business operations.
Provide legal advice and guidance to Management and various departments.
Review, draft, negotiate, and finalize agreements, contracts, undertakings, MoUs, notices, and other legal documents.
Ensure legal documentation is accurate, complete, and properly executed.
Identify potential legal risks and recommend appropriate preventive measures.
Monitor changes in applicable laws, rules, regulations, and government notifications affecting the company.
Maintain proper records of legal documents, agreements, notices, cases, and statutory records.

Real Estate Legal Matters

Conduct and coordinate title verification and due diligence for land and property transactions.
Review sale deeds, sale agreements, development agreements, joint venture agreements, power of attorney documents, and related property documents.
Coordinate with advocates for title opinions, EC verification, parent documents, patta, chitta, FMB, approvals, and other property-related records.
Verify ownership and identify potential encumbrances, disputes, claims, or legal issues relating to properties.
Support the Projects and Sales Teams in resolving property-related legal queries.
Review customer-facing legal documentation relating to property sales and transactions.
Ensure that property transactions are carried out in accordance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

Litigation & Dispute Management

Monitor ongoing and potential legal disputes involving the company.
Coordinate with external advocates, legal consultants, and law firms for litigation matters.
Maintain a case tracker containing case status, hearing dates, advocates, next actions, and important documents.
Prepare and coordinate responses to legal notices, notices from authorities, customer complaints, and other legal communications.
Assist Management in developing appropriate legal strategies for disputes and claims.
Ensure timely submission of documents and instructions to advocates.

Contract Management

Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with vendors, consultants, contractors, customers, landowners, channel partners, and other stakeholders.
Review commercial agreements to identify legal, financial, and operational risks.
Ensure agreements contain appropriate clauses relating to confidentiality, indemnity, liability, termination, dispute resolution, force majeure, and governing law.
Maintain a centralized contract database and monitor renewal and expiry dates.
Ensure proper authorization and execution of agreements.

Liaisoning & Government Coordination

Coordinate with relevant government departments and statutory authorities for property and business-related matters.
Support liaisoning activities relating to approvals, permissions, registrations, and statutory requirements.
Coordinate with relevant authorities, legal consultants, and external professionals whenever required.
Maintain proper documentation and status updates for pending approvals and applications.
Ensure timely follow-up on legal and regulatory matters.

Internal Support

Provide legal guidance before entering into significant commercial or property-related commitments.
Conduct legal risk assessments for new projects, transactions, and business arrangements.
Support Management in developing and implementing legally sound business practices.
Conduct awareness sessions for employees on relevant legal requirements whenever required.

Pay: Up to ₹30,000.00 per month
