Full job description

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior BWG Professional with strong expertise in Bulk Waste Generator (BWG) business development, waste collection, wet & dry waste management, composting, and residential society/RWA operations.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in managing societies, RWAs, commercial establishments, hotels, restaurants, malls and other BWG clients, along with proven skills in team management, client acquisition, collection operations and revenue generation.

Key Responsibilities1. BWG Business Development & Sales

Develop and execute the BWG sales and business development strategy.
Identify and acquire new Bulk Waste Generator clients.
Develop business with residential societies, RWAs, commercial buildings, malls, hotels, restaurants, institutions and corporate clients.
Handle the complete sales cycle from lead generation to proposal, negotiation, agreement and onboarding.
Build long-term relationships with key BWG clients and decision-makers.
Achieve monthly and annual sales/revenue targets.

2. Waste Collection & Operations

Manage and monitor door-to-door and bulk waste collection operations.
Ensure proper segregation of wet waste, dry waste and reject waste.
Coordinate manpower, vehicles, collection routes and daily operations.
Monitor collection efficiency, service quality and operational costs.
Resolve operational issues and client complaints within defined timelines.

3. Composting / Wet Waste Management

Have good knowledge of composters, OWC (Organic Waste Converter), composting and wet-waste processing.
Understand the complete process from wet waste collection → segregation → processing → composting → finished compost.
Coordinate installation/operation of composting solutions at BWG locations where required.
Monitor compost quality, machine performance and operational efficiency.

4. Client & Society Management

Develop strong relationships with RWA Presidents, Facility Managers, Society Managers, Property Managers and Admin Heads.
Conduct regular client/site visits.
Prepare commercial proposals and service agreements.
Handle escalations and ensure high customer satisfaction.
Identify opportunities for upselling additional waste-management services.

5. Team Management

Lead and manage Sales, Collection and Operations teams.
Set targets and monitor individual/team performance.
Train team members on BWG sales, customer handling and waste-management processes.
Conduct regular review meetings and prepare MIS reports.

6. Compliance & Reporting

Ensure BWG operations comply with applicable waste-management rules and local requirements.
Maintain client documentation, contracts, collection records and operational reports.
Prepare weekly/monthly sales, collection, revenue and performance MIS for management.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of BWG / Bulk Waste Generator business.
Excellent knowledge of waste collection and waste-management operations.
Experience dealing with Societies / RWA / Facility Management companies.
Knowledge of composting, OWC, wet waste and dry waste management.
Strong B2B sales and business development skills.
Excellent negotiation and client-management skills.
Team leadership and people-management capability.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Good knowledge of MS Excel and MIS reporting.
Willingness to travel for client/site visits.
