The Opportunity:
Own the brand positioning of the Avantor diagnostics portfolio across various customer segments in the country, including Biochemistry, Electrolyte, and Immunology product lines. Drive portfolio management through optimization of slow-moving/non-moving products and introduction of high-margin, high-potential products based on market intelligence. This includes new business development, analyzing business growth, profitability, sales trends, and disease area-focused market development.
Drive market development and market penetration initiatives, increase share of business within key accounts, and support localization of products to protect margins and accelerate sales growth.
What We're Looking For:
Approximately 8-12 years of relevant experience in Product Management.
Graduate or Postgraduate in Biotechnology/Life Sciences, with an MBA/PGDM in Marketing preferred.
Strong subject matter expertise in Immunology, along with business acumen and strategy development capabilities within the diagnostics industry.
Demonstrates analytical and logical thinking, a results-oriented mindset, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and SAP.
Experience in Sales, Product Management, Application Support, or Marketing in a company dealing with Clinical Diagnostics products.
Experience in marketing strategy, product launch planning, and portfolio management.
Demonstrates integrity, collaboration, communication and influencing skills, and the ability to make sound business decisions.
How You Will Thrive and Create an Impact:
Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through lead generation campaigns and support the sales process through to order conversion and billing.
Drive new customer acquisition and expand business opportunities across targeted market segments.
Own the brand positioning and visibility of the Avantor Diagnostics portfolio, including Biochemistry, Electrolyte, and Immunology product ranges, across relevant customer segments throughout India.
Manage the Rapid Test, ELISA, Immunology, Biochemistry, and Electrolyte portfolios by optimizing slow-moving/non-moving products and introducing high-margin products through market intelligence and opportunity assessment.
Develop and execute market development and market penetration strategies to expand product adoption and market share.
Increase share of business with key accounts through strategic engagement, product positioning, and targeted growth initiatives.
Drive localization initiatives for products to improve competitiveness, protect margins, and accelerate revenue growth.
Conduct validation of products, kits, and rapid cards with accredited laboratories on a periodic basis in collaboration with commercial and application teams.
Plan and execute clinical marketing campaigns, technical workshops, training programs, and customer engagement initiatives.
Provide technical and commercial support for product performance-related queries and maximize instrument utilization.
Build, expand, and engage Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) across focus segments.
Generate market intelligence by assessing market trends, competitor activities, customer needs, and growth opportunities.
Develop and implement action plans based on competitive analysis and changing market dynamics.
Ensure strong brand visibility through website and e-commerce portal enrichment, marketing collateral, sales tools, and commercial team training programs.
Support portfolio enhancement through new product introductions, supplier engagement, product lifecycle management, and optimization of the existing product range.
Drive sales and margin analytics to ensure a healthy product mix and sustainable profitability.
Design and execute promotional campaigns to improve product penetration and portfolio performance.
Manage product pricing, pricing strategies, schemes, and promotional offers to meet business objectives.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Application, Commercial, Supply Chain, and Global Product teams to deliver business growth and customer satisfaction.
