Equity Derivatives Trader F&O

Location: Noida (On-site)
Experience: 4–8+ Years
Employment Type: Full-Time
Timing: 8 am to 5 pm (Mon to Friday)
10 am to 5 pm ( Sat)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Equity Derivatives Trader ( F&O) to join our trading desk in Noida. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in trading and managing positions in single-stock futures and options, with expertise in derivatives strategies, risk management, and portfolio optimization.

The trader will be responsible for developing, executing, and managing stock derivatives strategies to generate consistent risk-adjusted returns while maintaining strict risk controls. This role is focused exclusively on derivatives trading.Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven track record in trading futures and options.
Strong understanding of stock derivative products, option pricing, volatility, and risk management.
Proficiency in trading platforms, Excel, and quantitative analysis tools.
Excellent analytical, decision-making, and communication skills.
Experience in proprietary trading environments is preferred.
MBA, CFA, FRM, NISM certifications, or equivalent qualifications are preferred.

Roles & ResponsibilitiesTrading & Execution

Execute and manage trades in futures and options.
Identify and capitalize on trading opportunities across stock derivatives.
Monitor open positions and adjust strategies based on market conditions.

Strategy Development

Develop and implement stock-specific derivatives strategies

Risk Management

Monitor portfolio exposure, Greeks, and overall risk metrics.
Implement hedging techniques to reduce downside risk.
Maintain strict stop-loss and position-sizing frameworks.
Ensure compliance with internal risk policies.

Market Research & Analysis

Analyze company-specific news, earnings announcements, sector trends, and market developments.
Conduct technical, quantitative, and derivatives analysis to support trading decisions.
Monitor implied volatility, open interest, and liquidity conditions in stock derivatives.

Performance Monitoring

Track strategy performance and maintain detailed trade journals.
Generate daily, weekly, and monthly trading reports.
Continuously improve trading systems and processes based on performance analytics.

Collaboration & Compliance

Work closely with research analysts and trading teams to generate actionable insights.
Ensure adherence to regulatory and exchange requirements.
Maintain accurate records of all trading activities.

Requirements

2–4+ years of hands-on experience in Futures & Options Trading.
Strong understanding of derivatives pricing, Greeks, volatility, and risk management.
Experience in developing and executing stock-specific derivatives strategies.
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and trading terminals.
Ability to perform under pressure and make quick trading decisions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Must have experience with XTS, Convex, and Odin
