Drone Quality Engineer (3-5 years)

Location: Drone City Haryana, Sisai, Hissar

About AVPL International:

We are unwavering in leveraging tech to address complex social needs. We are currently focused on building unique solutions for the Agriculture, Medical and Logistics sectors.

About the Role:

AVPL International is looking for a Drone Quality Engineer responsible for establishing and implementing quality standards, inspection procedures, and quality control processes for DRONE manufacturing. You will ensure all drones meet the highest quality standards and regulatory requirements. You will work with production teams and management to maintain quality excellence and continuous improvement.

Key Purpose and Accountabilities:

Primary activities – Develop and implement quality assurance procedures, conduct inspections, and ensure compliance with quality standards throughout the drone manufacturing process.

Major Duties:

Establish and implement quality control procedures and inspection protocols for all drone assemblies and components
Conduct functional and visual inspections at various stages of drone assembly and testing
Develop and maintain quality documentation, checklists, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Perform root cause analysis on defects and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
Collaborate with assembly and testing teams to identify quality issues and implement improvements
Maintain inspection records and quality metrics dashboard for management review
Conduct first article inspection (FAI) and receiving inspection for components and materials
Prepare quality reports and present findings to senior management and stakeholders
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements (AS9100, ISO standards etc.)
Train assembly and testing personnel on quality standards and best practices
Participate in design reviews to ensure manufacturability and quality at early stages

Other Duties:

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and enhance product reliability.
Adhere to all relevant QHSSE procedures, instructions, and controls so that AVPL International provides a safe, world-class and secure service to customers.

Experience, Qualifications, Skills Required:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aeronautical Engineering
3-5 years' experience in quality assurance or quality control in aerospace, automotive, or electronics manufacturing
Knowledge of quality management systems and ISO 9001 / AS9100 standards
Experience with inspection equipment and metrology tools (CMM, gauges, etc.)
Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
Proficiency in quality management software and data analysis tools
Excellent documentation and report writing skills in English
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Good communication and teamwork skills

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
