Full job description

Position: Business Development Manager / Sales Manager – Renewable Energy

Location: Tamil Nadu (Travel across Tamil Nadu required)
Department: Sales & Business Development
Industry: Renewable Energy / Solar EPC / Open Access Power / Power Trading

Responsibilities

Identify and generate new business opportunities across Tamil Nadu.
Meet industrial and commercial customers to understand their energy requirements.
Promote and explain the company's renewable energy solutions and value proposition.
Develop strong relationships with key decision-makers, including business owners, plant heads, purchase heads, and management teams.
Conduct customer presentations, technical discussions, and commercial negotiations.
Prepare proposals, quotations, and techno-commercial offers in coordination with internal teams.
Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline from lead generation to project closure.
Maintain continuous follow-up with prospective customers until successful conversion.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Coordinate with engineering, project execution, legal, finance, and operations teams for smooth project handover after order confirmation.
Gather market intelligence, competitor activities, and customer feedback to support business strategy.
Update CRM and submit regular sales reports, visit reports, and pipeline status to management.
Represent the company at industrial associations, exhibitions, seminars, and networking events whenever required

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
