Role Summary
As a Lead / Senior Salesforce Developer with 7 to 12 years of intensive, hands-on development experience, you will be directly responsible for designing, writing, testing, and deploying complex, enterprise-grade custom solutions on the Salesforce platform. Your primary focus will be deep, hands-on coding using Apex, LWC, and advanced integration patterns to extend Sales Cloud and Service Cloud platforms. While you will bring senior-level technical expertise to guide technical design and code quality, your day-to-day focus will center on active programming, hands-on platform customization, and building high-performance, scalable code. Exposure to Revenue Cloud (CPQ) and Media Cloud is a strong added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
-
Hands-on Core Coding: Write, optimize, and unit-test complex Apex code (enterprise trigger frameworks, batch jobs, queueables, schedulables, platform events) and build reusable, performant Lightning Web Components (LWC).
-
Enterprise Customization & Integration: Directly build and consume complex REST/SOAP APIs, event-driven architectures, and middleware patterns to integrate Salesforce with legacy and external systems.
-
Database & Performance Tuning: Write highly optimized SOQL/SOSL queries, design large data volumes (LDV) data models, and implement strict governor-limit mitigation strategies to ensure system performance.
-
Sales & Service Cloud Extensions: Develop custom UI components and backend logic for Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Service Console, Omni-Channel, Open CTI, and complex entitlement processes where declarative tools fall short.
-
DevOps & Release Management: Hands-on management of source-driven development using SFDX, Git version control, and automated CI/CD pipelines (Copado, Gearset, or Jenkins).
-
Code Quality & Technical Standards: Perform rigorous code reviews, enforce secure coding standards (CRUD/FLS enforcement, injection prevention), and maintain unit test coverage exceeding 85% across all deployments.
-
Troubleshooting & Defect Resolution: Actively debug, profile, and resolve production bugs, performance bottlenecks, and critical integration failures.
-
Technical Collaboration: Partner closely with functional consultants and solution architects to translate complex functional requirements into clean, scalable technical designs.
Requirements
-
Experience: 7–12 years of continuous, hands-on technical development experience building enterprise-scale applications on the Salesforce platform.
-
Hands-on Technical Mastery: Deep, practical expertise in Apex, LWC, Async Apex, trigger frameworks, and modern web technologies (JavaScript ES6+, HTML5, CSS).
-
Integration Expertise: Hands-on experience designing and building custom REST/SOAP web services, handling authentication protocols (OAuth), and managing asynchronous event processing.
-
Data Model & Security Depth: Master-level understanding of the Salesforce data model, governor limits, security architecture, programmatic sharing rules, and secure coding practices.
-
DevOps & Tools: Proven experience using SFDX, Git, and automated CI/CD deployment pipelines on a daily basis.
-
Certifications Required:
-
Salesforce Platform Developer I (PD1)
-
Salesforce Platform Developer II (PD2)
Preferred Skills & Qualifications (Added Advantage)
-
Revenue Cloud (CPQ / Billing): Hands-on experience developing custom Apex, CPQ Plugins (QCP), or API integrations for Salesforce CPQ & Billing.
-
Media Cloud / OmniStudio: Development exposure to Salesforce Media Cloud/Vlocity frameworks, OmniStudio (OmniScripts, Integration Procedures, DataRaptors), or subscriber lifecycle engines.
-
Advanced Certifications: Salesforce System Architect or Application Architect certifications.
-
Middleware & Ecosystem: Experience with MuleSoft, Experience Cloud development, or CRM Analytics dataflows/recipes.
