Job Title: Fashion Merchandise Management Intern

Location: Delhi

Department: Merchandise Management / Retail Operations

Reports To: Head Of Merchandising

Job Overview :The Fashion Merchandise Management Intern will support the merchandise management team in day-to-day operations, focusing on inventory planning, sales analysis, product assortment, and trend research for the fashion brand. This internship offers hands-on experience in managing fashion inventory, product forecasting, and supporting the overall merchandise strategy for the company.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Product Assortment & Planning: Assist in analyzing sales data and helping to develop seasonal assortments for different product categories .Collaborate with the merchandise team to ensure the right product mix is available for upcoming collections. Help create product presentations and support the team in making data-driven decisions for buying and merchandising.

2. Inventory Management & Stock Replenishment: Monitor inventory levels to ensure products are replenished at the right time, avoiding both overstocking and stockouts.Assist in managing product allocations and ensuring stock availability in keymarkets/stores. Support in organizing and updating product inventory reports.

3. Brand Onboarding: Onboarding new brands ⁠o Getting the Commission aligned & Agreements signed Procuring their Product Catalogue/Line sheets

4. Sales & Trend Analysis: Conduct trend research by analyzing market reports, competitor products, and customer preferences. Assist in tracking the performance of various product categories and providing recommendations based on the findings. Help compile sales and product performance reports for management.

5. Supplier and Vendor Coordination: Assist in communication with suppliers and vendors to track order status ,deliveries, and other operational concerns. Support in updating product information, pricing, and inventory levels within thesystem.

6. E-Commerce & Visual Merchandising Support: Collaborate with the e-commerce team to ensure product listings are accurate and up-to-date. Assist with visual merchandising and product display guidelines for both in-store and online platforms. Help ensure that product displays align with current trends and brand aesthetics.

7. Administrative Support: Help with administrative tasks, such as creating purchase orders, tracking shipments, and maintaining product records. Support in the preparation and review of merchandise-related reports.8. Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to ensure alignment of product promotions and campaigns. Support the sales team by ensuring they have the necessary product knowledge and materials for customer engagement.

Qualifications:

Education: Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a degree in Fashion Merchandising, Retail Management, Business, or a related field.

Skills: Strong interest in fashion and merchandising. Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus. Strong analytical and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment. Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.

Experience: Previous internship or work experience in retail or fashion merchandising isa plus, but not required.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 per month
