Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
We are looking for an experienced Python Backend Developer with strong expertise in FastAPI, PostgreSQL, and AWS cloud services. The ideal candidate should have experience designing and developing scalable, secure, and high-performance RESTful APIs for enterprise applications. The role requires hands-on experience with asynchronous programming, database optimization, cloud-native architectures, and production support.
Your future duties and responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python and FastAPI.
Build production-grade REST APIs following clean architecture and best coding practices.
Develop reusable and maintainable code using Pydantic models, dependency injection, and asynchronous programming.
Design and implement authentication and authorization mechanisms using JWT/OAuth2.
Develop middleware for logging, monitoring, request validation, exception handling, and security.
Optimize application performance through asynchronous processing, background tasks, caching, and rate limiting.
Design, develop, and optimize PostgreSQL database schemas for high-performance applications.
Write efficient SQL queries using joins, CTEs, window functions, and query optimization techniques.
Create and maintain database migrations using Alembic.
Work with SQLAlchemy (preferably Async SQLAlchemy) for ORM implementation.
Manage transactions, connection pooling, and database performance tuning.
Build event-driven solutions using AWS services such as SQS, SNS, Lambda, and Step Functions.
Develop ETL/data processing solutions using AWS Glue where applicable.
Configure application monitoring, logging, and alerting using Amazon CloudWatch.
Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, production deployments, and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams following Agile methodologies.
